Medicare Supplements

Medicare Supplement Insurance policies, also called Medigap, help pay the out-of-pocket expenses not covered by original Medicare (Part A and B).  It is not part of the the government's Medicare program, but it does provide coverage in addition to it.

A Medicare Supplement policy can provide financial protection from unexpected costs such as deductibles, copays, and coinsurance.  These plans work with original Medicare to help cover the out-of-pocket expenses that original Medicare doesn't cover.

Medicare Supplement plans have no required network, so you have the freedom to see any doctor that accepts Medicare, even if you are away from home or traveling.

Medicare Supplements do not cover prescription drugs. so it is important for your client to enroll in a stand-alone Part D prescription drug program.
